Originally from Wellington, New Zealand, Jack has lived and worked in the Queenstown Lakes region for more than five years. An expert in all things adventure, Jack is a mountain biking guide and a jumpmaster at Shotover Canyon Swing.

When he’s not throwing people off canyons or biking down them, Jack’s also a climbing and via ferrata (“iron road” climbing) guide.

Jack loves the region, from the lush beech forests of Glenorchy to the golden tussocks of Central Otago. He’s particularly passionate about the history, the views and the incredible drive into Skippers Canyon.

“When people are so awed and excited by the scenery we have here, it makes me appreciate my home even more!” he says.
