A born and bred South Islander, Daniel has been a tour guide in and around Queenstown, New Zealand for more than 20 years. An avid traveller, Daniel is passionate about adventure, especially trekking. His extensive knowledge and experience comes from a wide range of luxury tour guiding and hospitality. After gaining a degree in Commerce, (majoring in Tourism and Management) from Otago University in 1996, Daniel worked in 5 star hotels across Australasia. He then spent two seasons with a bespoke guiding company before taking on the family business in 2005, Bronte Country Estate, a luxury boutique accommodation in Nelson.

At Queenstown Guided Expeditions, Daniel loves that no two days are the same and he prides himself on his personal service, patience and extensive regional knowledge.

“I’m a real people’s person,” he says.

“I enjoy sharing my experiences with other people and ‘showing off’ the best of what New Zealand has to offer.”
